Privacy Policy
Daphnis ("Daphnis", "we", "us") operates daphnis.app and builds the Daphnis software ("the Service"). This policy explains what data we handle, why, and the choices you have.
What we collect
Waitlist email. If you join the waitlist, we collect the email address you give us. We use it only to tell you when Daphnis becomes available. We do not sell it and we do not use it for anything else.
Google account data. Daphnis connects your automations to services you already use. When you connect a Google account, Daphnis accesses only the data covered by the permissions you approve:
- Gmail — read and search your messages and threads. If you turn on write access, create drafts and send email on your behalf.
- Google Drive — read and search files you can open. If you turn on write access, create and edit files.
- Google Calendar — list your calendars, read events, and check free/busy availability.
- Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides — read your documents; optionally create and edit them.
- Google Chat — read your spaces and messages; optionally post messages as you.
- Contacts and profile — read your basic profile information and contacts.
Read access keeps your data flowing one way: into the tools you run. Write access is optional and enabled per connection. You can revoke it at any time.
Site basics. When you browse daphnis.app, our hosting processes standard technical data (such as your IP address and page requests) to serve the site. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party trackers.
How we use Google account data
We use Google account data only to provide the features you enable: reading, searching, and — when you turn it on — creating or sending on your behalf, so your automations can work with your own data.
We never:
- sell Google user data or share it with data brokers or advertisers;
- use it for advertising, retargeting, or credit-worthiness decisions;
- let humans read it, except when you ask us to, when we must for security or legal reasons, or with your explicit consent.
Limited Use
Daphnis's use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Storage and security
Connection tokens are stored encrypted and used only to keep your connections working. You can disconnect a connection at any time.
Sharing
We do not share Google user data with third parties, except with service providers strictly needed to run Daphnis (for example, hosting), or when the law requires it. Those providers receive only what they need and are bound to protect it.
Retention and deletion
- Disconnect a connection. Daphnis stops accessing that Google account, and the stored tokens for it are deleted.
- Revoke access directly. Visit https://myaccount.google.com/permissions to revoke Daphnis's access at any time.
- Delete your data. Email thiagoguimaraes.dev@gmail.com and we will delete the data under our control that is associated with you.
- Waitlist. Use the unsubscribe link in any email, or contact us, to be removed.
Changes
We may update this policy as Daphnis evolves. We will post the new version here with a new "last updated" date.
